RateQuoteNow doesn't charge you a thing to request a quote, and we never will. We work with local businesses in two separate ways, and they work very differently from each other.
Every affiliate listed on RateQuoteNow has been personally vetted before we'll refer anyone to them. We don't require any fee to be considered as an affiliate, and no affiliate pays us for placement or ranking. If you end up doing business with an affiliate we referred you to, that business may (or may not) pay us a small referral fee afterward. That fee helps cover the cost of running this site and continuing to vet the businesses we work with, and it never determines which affiliate we show you or how prominently.
We also hold a standard that has nothing to do with money: we do not work with businesses of shady, immoral, or unscrupulous character, for any amount of compensation. Our reputation isn't for sale.
Separately, some local businesses pay RateQuoteNow for a straightforward advertisement: a short business highlight and a link, similar to what you'd see on a business's Google profile. You'll see these in the "Advertisement" spotlight alongside our categories and on our Sponsors page, always labeled "Sponsored." Sponsorship is a plain advertising arrangement. It has no bearing on which affiliate you're matched with in any category, and a business can be a sponsor without being one of our vetted affiliates, or the other way around.
Our Mortgage & Refinance category currently refers to 3E Lending as a vetted affiliate. Separately, 3E Lending also advertises as a paid sponsor elsewhere on this site, such as in the rotating spotlight. Those are two different arrangements: the affiliate referral is free and unrelated to compensation, while the sponsor placement is a plain paid ad. We call this out specifically because mortgage referrals are subject to additional federal disclosure rules, and we want to be extra clear about exactly what is and isn't paid, and when.

When you submit a quote request, we collect your ZIP code, name, phone number, email address, and the category you selected. When you submit a sponsor inquiry, we collect your business name, contact details, and any message you provide.
We share your quote request with the affiliate(s) associated with the category you selected, so they can contact you about your request. We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties.
By submitting a quote request, you consent to receive calls, texts, and emails about your request from RateQuoteNow and its affiliates, including by autodialer or prerecorded message, even if your number is registered on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
